31 Character Challenge, Day 05: Feng Shui 1e
I decided to take it easy on myself again today because I'm still not feeling well, so I grabbed a book off my shelf that I've had for a long time, but never gotten to use: Feng Shui's glorious first edition.
Based heavily on premade archetype templates (similar to WEG Star Wars d6), character creation in Feng Shui is lightning-fast, especially if you're already familiar with the mechanics and power "schticks". The template I picked actually had its own unique schticks baked in, making things even easier.
The year is 199X. Hong Kong waits tensely for the impending return of the city to Chinese control. Jane Chen is a police detective with a mission: to find out what happened to her brother, who went missing a few years before. Little does she know what she's getting into, as her search leads her into a secret war of magic and superscience that crosses time itself!
